Lakers vs Nuggets: Game Three

Kenneth Faried had 12 points and 15 huge rebounds, including 6 offensive boards and Ty Lawson blasted past the Laker offence as the Denver Nuggets gave themselves a chance as they won their first game in Denver. JaVale McGee also had 16 and 15 while battling behemoth Andrew Bynum all night.

“The game for us is all about energy. It’s not complicated for us. When we play poorly we don’t play with enough energy and we don’t push the pace and we take too many jump shots.”
— Nuggets coach George Karl

Kobe had 22 but shot only 7 for 23 as he threw up 10 threes and appeared to be distracted by some poor calls. Andrew Bynum, always treading the dangerous line of anger and focus, had 18, all in the second half
