18/4/2012-Melo carries Knicks to big win as Pistons shoot lights out

Four starters scored in double figures and Danny Granger had 24 points as the Pacers beat the 76ers.

The Detroit Pistons shot 60 percent from the field as they tore apart the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brandon Knight led the Pistons with 28 points on 11-12 shooting.

Paul Pierce’s 43 points were overcome by Carmelo Anthony’s 35 point 12 rebound 10 assist triple double as the Knicks beat the Celtics by eight in MSG. Steve Novak and JR Smith added 25 apiece off the bench.

The seriously struggling Timberwolves lost again, this time to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Spurs reaped their revenge for their last meetings defeat as they took down the still Kobe less Lakers by 21.
